Roland Garros - The french open

Roland Garros, in French also called "La terra battue" (English: "The beaten ground" or "Clay"), is the second grand slam tournament on the tennis calendar, and highly anticipated by a big part of the tennis fanbase. Although these tournaments attract many non-tennis fans, you can put it that the major share of visitors are a fine selection of world's tennis loving population. Don't be pulled off when you see the hundreds of waiting fans standing in queue to obtain that precious entry ticket since the queues in France tend to move on quite fast. It might not be a fast entry, but the chances of getting inside are possibly the highest of any other grand slam since ticket supply is plentiful.
